Well, I think it is safe to say that this year's Peel District Cup event was warmly enjoyed by those that participated as well as the audience that came along to see the competition. Temperatures were in the mid-thirties with a few clouds and even some rain which was a surprise.

Congratulations to the winner for the day, Ian Sherriff, who entered under his Champion’s Lake membership.  (But we at ALRS claim him as one own because he sails with us each week too.)

Nick Jerwood and Ron Viney were second and third respectively, both Wanderers members, with Wayne Colman for Emu Lakes a close forth, which made it a clean sweep for our visitors. (This is why we need to claim Ian Sherriff as “one of our own!”)
